This is a blog, not a media company. It was started in 2016 by two people who were tired of travel writing that described Spain as if it were a theme park, and wanted to write about it the way it actually is — complicated, beautiful, frustrating, and endlessly interesting.
We are not journalists. We are not influencers. We are people who live in Spain and write about it because we find it worth writing about. We have no sponsors, no press trips, and no editorial agenda beyond honesty.
